Tim Whitworth
Managing Partner
Tim has worked within and led all major disciplines within business. Having grown a small business to a multi-million pound operation he has in-depth experience of varying scale, operations and teams.
Tim led the MBO of a small chain of loss-making clothing stores in 2002. As CEO he created a highly successful multi-channel retail business having driven the business through turnaround and explosive growth. He also steered the business through three successive, successful, private equity investment stages, culminating in a deal worth in excess of £300m with a major US PE house.
With a passion for business and a genuine desire to see entrepreneurs and teams flourish, Tim brings a wealth of operational, transformational and management expertise along with access to a wide range of professionals and organisations. Tim leads the investment portfolio and focuses on building critical relationships with existing and potential partners.

Ed Bennison
Partner
Ed has worked across a number of industries under private, PLC and PE ownership.
Ed has taken the lead in multiple transactions worth in excess of £1bn; his experience working within owner-managed businesses alongside private equity investment means he understands the challenges faced by small and medium enterprise owners when seeking to scale, grow and organise their businesses.
He is experienced in leading both financial and non-financial teams as well as engaging with a wide range of external parties and stakeholders.
His experience in working with owners provides valuable perspective when considering scaling businesses, creating value and considering exit scenarios.
Danny Moss
Director
Danny joined the Group in December 2021 and brings over 20 years’ experience across a number of retail businesses, spanning PLC, PE and private ownerships.
A background in product sourcing, buying and merchandising, he has been an integral part of trading functions and latterly was appointed Commercial Director of a £75m+ business.
He is responsible for improving and driving commercial performance and consistency across the Group.
Liam Gill
Managing Director
Liam is a highly effective results-driven commercial operator. He has worked within, lead and advised a wide range of businesses and Boards across multiple sectors throughout the UK, both private and public.
He is responsible for the identification of Group M&A activities and thereafter working with portfolio business leaders to drive performance across all disciplines.
Having previously held portfolio roles as Chief Operating Officer and subsequently appointed Chief Executive Officer of a £100m multi-channel retailer until exit in 2020. He prepared the business for sale and crystallisation of the investment before returning to the Group as Managing Director in January 2020.
Lucy Rushforth
Investment Manager
Lucy joined the TIM Group Holdings team in November 2020, graduating from the University of Leeds where she studied International Relations. Prior to joining the Group, she gained post-graduate experience in the sectors of Law, Retail and Recruitment.
Within TIM Group Holdings, Lucy supports in the planning, development and implementation of Sales and Marketing strategy for all portfolio businesses across all platforms and channels.
With an open-minded approach, she strives to support all stakeholders in increasing a business’ value.
Jake Barrett
Financial Accountant
Jake is a qualified ACCA accountant and manages all Group finances, constantly seeking ways to add value to portfolio businesses.
He is responsible for Group accounts and financial functions, producing monthly management accounts, presenting management information against pre-determined KPI’s, forecasts, cashflows and budgets.
Managing not only current Group business accounts but also the analysis of management information for potential acquisitions.
